AVK participated in Regional Water Talk 2021

About Regional Water Talk
Regional Water Talks is the first virtual conference focusing on developing Asia’s “Readiness of Water Sector in Economic Recovery”. This virtual conference featuring prominent speakers from the water industry as well as thought leaders and experts from the region and around the world.
Regional Water Talks consist of panel discussions, covering topics and issues from Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines, which include topics on governance, NRW, strategic policies, and many more. 

This regional virtual conference allows professionals to connect and help inspire industry players by gaining deep insights and knowledge in order to support the growth and help the water and wastewater industry to be ready for post pandemic economic growth.

AVK session
This event took 3 days from 3 August until 5 August and AVK presented in Indonesia session on 4 August 2021. This session brought “Indonesia Coastal Reservoir: Development and Strategy” as the topic. There are 3 speakers from 3 different companies:
• Prof. Eko Winar Irianto, Director of Technical Development of Water Resources, Ministry of Public Works & Housing (PUPR) Indonesia.
• Hadjad Widagdo Head of Reservoir Management, BP Batam.
• Gert Borrits, Regional Managing Director, AVK Southeast Asia.

This session was attended by around 320 participants from Southeast Asia. After Panel Discussion led by a moderator, Gert presented about AVK Group and explain that AVK offers affordable quality solution for all water business including Reservoir, the only one valve manufacture that has Halal approval, and also informed that AVK has successfully supplied to many projects around Southeast Asia.

For 3 days, this event was attended by around 800 participants. By participating in this event AVK could strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia and promote that AVK has affordable quality solution for all water business.
